Summertime is here! Enjoy the long days with family and
friends. As parents prepare their students for another school year, our staff
thought it would be helpful to share a few items that could be of help.For students entering Kindergarten, the Kindergarten

to Kindergarten. For students moving to First or Second Grades, teachers

Students return to school on Thursday, August 13, 2015.
School starts at 8:00 AM, and our teachers and staff look forward to seeing
students then. IMPORTANT! Dismissal times for the 2015-2016 school year have changed. School will end at 2:30 PM.
Important Back to School Information for Parents
The 2015-16 school year will start for students on Thursday,
Aug. 13 at all schools in the Glynn County School System. Parents should be aware of important events
leading up to the start of school and information that they will receive at the
start of the school year.
Open House will be held at all elementary schools, the FACES
prekindergarten center and Leaps and Bounds on Monday, Aug. 10; at all middle
schools and the Golden Isles Career Academy on Tuesday, Aug. 11; and at the two
high schools on Wednesday, Aug. 12. Open

U.S. News & World Report ranks BHS as one of nation's best high schools
US News & World Report has named Brunswick High School (BHS) as one of the Best High Schools in the country according to 2015 rankings released recently by the national news publication. BHS, which received a Bronze Award, was one of 133 high schools in Georgia to be recognized with either a Gold Award, Sliver Award or Bronze Award based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college. In order to subscribe to an RSS feed you will need two things, an RSS reader (also known as a news aggregator) and url (web address) of the RSS feed that you wish to subscribe.
Download and Install a News Aggregator / RSS Reader - or use a RSS-enabled browser.
Locate the web address (url) of the RSS feed (XML file) that you wish to subscribe - usually you can just click on the orange XML
or RSS button
Many of the news readers will allow you to set the interval that the software will look for a feed update others simply update daily.
The information in the feed will be updated when the feed contains new content.
You can choose to subscribe to the entire site RSS feed (ALL Feeds), or an individual feed found on each tab.
A news aggregator or RSS reader is a software application that collects and displays news headlines and summaries from sources that you have designated. An RSS feed is an XML document that contains the news headlines and summaries.
